Covid Activity Tracing
We fully comply with using the National Covid tracer app, and have adjusted our safety plans to include the steps we are taking to mitigate risks.
+Impac / Safety Seek
We have partnered with +Impac and Safety Seek as an additional measure to ensure contact tracing is made easy.
Employee Re-Induction
All our employees have been re-inducted to include the Covid-19 protocols prior to starting work. Weekly recorded toolbox talks are held to evaluate all situations and safety protocols.
Employee Workstations
Employee workstations have been scattered with physical distancing. in mind. We have increased personal hygiene requirements which includes the use of appropriate PPE and sanitation stations.
Covid-19 Protocols
Allwin Steel references and complies with Site Safe New Zealand Covid-19 Vertical and Horizontal Protocols outlined below for Alert Levels 1, 2 , 3 and 4.
This Covid-19 framework has been developed in accordance with government advice and is designed to sit alongside our usual health and safety controls. The framework consists of:
- an overarching standard with high-level principles that must be adhered to; and
- more detailed protocols providing ‘how to’ guidance which can then be adapted on a site by site basis.
The protocols are a living document which are kept updated by a working party of health and safety practitioners from across the industry.
